On my recent trip to Japan a few months ago, I finally decided to concentrate more on modifying the engine bay after spending hours at A PIT AUTOBACS in SHINONOME! For the car nerds who visit Tokyo, this is definitely a place you will want to visit. I must have spent close to 2 hours walking up and down every aisle making sure I didn’t miss anything. I walked out with a ton of die cast model cars, a hoodie, and a couple parts for the engine bay…

HKS has always been one of my favorite tuning companies coming out of Japan. I remember on my first WRX I had, I had gotten the HKS Hi-Power exhaust and on the STi, I previously ran the HKS SUPER TURBO exhaust on it. So of course I had to get the HKS oil cap and radiator cap for the car! I’m definitely loving the red aesthetics going on…

In a previous post, we had installed the Fortune Auto 500 coilovers with a Stanceparts air cup setup! This was all tied together with the Cusco Titanium strut bar!

The ARC Alternator cover… I have been holding off on buying the ARC Alternator cover for years as I couldn’t justify the cost but I finally decided to pull the trigger as these are only getting harder and harder to find. And finally to tie all the pieces together, the PROVA Eifel intake duct signed by Toshihiro Yoshida who is the President of PROVA. I never see these for sale and when I saw it was personally signed by Yoshida-san, I had to have it!
So there you have it! Engine bay is mostly complete besides little misc. things. Looking at painting all the yellow caps black, fixing the fins on the intercooler, and somehow make the intake manifold red again…!
