I’ve gone back and forth on deciding if writing this post would be a good idea or not. What I decided on was that there needs to be a platform that shows what companies are doing good or bad. I’ve heard good things about RPG but unfortunately MY experience with them was different.


Let’s start with the GOOD. The box came well protected and came with two pieces of wood taped up to the spoiler to hold it in shape from getting damaged or cracked from shipping. Overall, I’d say the shipping box and packaging was a 10/10!
On to the bad… Part was ordered on April 30, 2024. Waited a couple weeks for them to send a tracking and after multiple emails, I finally received the part on May 23, 2024… After I opened it up, I went to go test fit it on the car and to my surprise, it didn’t fit! They had shipped me the F30 M style lip instead of the E90 one… I sent them an email ASAP and was told they will correct the mistake and work on replacement for me on May 26, 2024.
Weeks go by with very little updates, them ghosting me and ignoring every email I sent to them, I finally decided to file a PayPal dispute on June 18, 2024. Surprisingly I got a response from them a few hours after… Funny how that works right? They finally responded that they will refund me if I send them back the wrong part that they shipped. I told them to send me the return shipping label because that was their mistake but they proceeded to ignore my emails again until I posted on Instagram about them.
Keep in mind PayPal has a certain time frame for buyer and seller to respond so I was working against a deadline to either ship the spoiler back on my dime or wait it out and see if they would provide a shipping label…
Today is June 27, 2024. Almost two months later, I finally have received the money back from RPG/PayPal and a shipping label was provided this morning. I’ve already packed up the spoiler and dropped it off to get picked up later today from UPS. Although RPG has dragged their feet on correcting the problems, I will not stand by those lousy business practices. We need to do better and there will be no dragging of my feet to return parts!
