ZERO/SPORTS SIDE SKIRTS ACQUIRED!

After years of lowkey chasing this part, I finally acquired another unicorn part, the ZERO/SPORTS side skirts!!! I almost gave up looking for these and was going to settle with the WRX side skirts as it gave the flat look I was looking for versus the wavy STI side skirts. I’m glad I decided to wait it out and check marketplace often!

The story of how I got these side skirts is pretty wild. I was at the airport waiting at the gate to board and was scrolling around Facebook and Instagram like I normally would. Saw a post about a guy parting out a WRX and noticed the ZERO/SPORTS side skirts and I hit him up right away. Told him I’d take it and that my planes boarding in a couple minutes. I’m glad he checked his messages and I sent the money right away! He had told me 10 other guys messaged him about the skirts and I’m glad he gave me the opportunity to buy these.

Its the chase and the high of finding and acquiring the rare parts for me. Most will never get it but for the few that understand, it’s an unbelievable feeling finding that one part that will complete the build. I’ve been at a crossroads with the build for the past year on what I wanted to do and this was the final puzzle piece that I was waiting on to complete my OEM+ god mode path…

What I wanted to do next in the roadmap for OEM PLUS COLLECTIVE is to document and record all the rare parts that I have acquired for the Subaru. With the slow death of forums and the crash of photo hosting sites like Photobucket wiping out photos from the early days, so to has all the information and photos of these parts. My goal now is to gather content in photo and video form to document these parts!

These are the measurements for the badge size and one way to tell if it is authentic is that there is a ZERO/SPORTS logo on the inside of the side skirt.
