CLOSE UP: DO LUCK TRUNK

The latest direction I’ve been wanting to go with the OEM PLUS COLLECTIVE brand is to document and show off all the rare parts that exist in the world. Mainly with the Subaru GD chassis as I’ve spent the past 6 years chasing and collecting as many rare parts as I can.

The first part that I’ll be documenting is the DO-LUCK CF trunk that is meant for the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX/STI. This is a part that has been reproduced so many times and often called the “demon style trunk”. Do-Luck was the original designer of this trunk style and I still can’t believe I have this in my possession. These are still available to be made and I believe I waited close to a year!

Below and the attached video will be showcasing the parts up close and personal for others to view and hopefully be able to tell between authentic vs replica! One definite way to tell is the seam line along the trunk edge. From the few I’ve talked to, fitment is ok and not the best. We will see when it’s time for my install!
