CLOSE UP: ZEROSPORTS GAUGE POD

On today’s episode of CLOSE UP, we have a ZERO/SPORTS gauge pod! While this part isn’t on the “unattainable” list of GD parts, it is still somewhat difficult to find in good condition and not all beat up!

We don’t really have many options for gauge pods that are located where the oem clock is. A few brands that make the pods are ATI, Defi, and Zerosports. The big issue with the ATI pod is that it deletes the location for the clock whereas the Zerosport pod has a slot for the clock. If you don’t have the clock plugged in, it’ll throw an airbag light on the dashboard!!

So the main reasons why I’ve chased this Zerosports clock pod was to be able to tell time again without looking at my phone. You don’t realize how nice it is to have that feature until its not available! Although I liked the ATI pod, it looked a little too “plastic-y” for my tastes.

Anyways, I made a quick video edit to showcase some details about the Zerosports gauge pod. Again, one way to tell that you have an authentic piece is that the Zerosports logo is embossed onto the pod!
