Chasing the dream PART 2!

I know we’ve been on a wild run the past few years with chasing some crazy rare Subaru parts… This will be probably one of the last posts I do about chasing some dream parts as I finally have collected every tier 1 part I’ve ever wanted. I honestly feel like Thanos with the recent shipment from Japan that came in today…

There are still some parts locked away in storage that I haven’t talked about but we will save those for another post in the future. I have all the puzzle pieces now to finish my masterpiece and all thats left to get to the end goal is time and a lot of money.

With that mentioned above, I’d like to introduce the FINAL pieces of the puzzle that arrived today. I’ve finally completed the Voltex kit!!!! I think the wait time to get all the pieces was about 6+ months for the kit (bumper, sideskirts, rear diffuser) from start to finish. To put it in perspective, I ordered my Voltex wing during covid and it took nearly 15+ months to arrive!

The kit and parts are finally in my possession! Now its onto saving the money to do a full glass out respray and vetting out the potential auto body shop. The pros and cons to that though is that I have a couple months to decide on while I save up the money to get this done correctly!

Im excited to get this kit on but first there’s a little side quest I must do before I throw the Voltex kit on… I owe it to myself to do this side quest and I hope you guys don’t mind that this dream kit will be on pause for awhile…
