Chasing Subaru parts is something I’ve been addicted to for a long time now. I get the high from chasing and finding all the rare parts and getting them in my hands is the treat. After that though, they go into storage to never really be seen again unless I decide to post about it… and today is your lucky day!
I picked these up a few months ago and wanted to finally talk about it. These are two hats that are signed by LEGENDS in the Subaru lore!!! The hat on the left is signed by the world famous WRC driver, Petter Solberg, and the hat on the right is signed by Toshi Arai of the legendary ARAI Motorsports/ SUBARU TEAM ARAI.
If you’re into Subarus and don’t recognize the two names mentioned above, you are definitely living under a rock. The lore that these two names bring to the table is insane and I recommend watching videos on them on Youtube…
Deep into the archives is this SWRT jacket I’ve had for awhile now. The SWRT hat goes perfectly with the jacket! The fit on the jacket is a little small on me but I absolutely love having a matching hat and jacket now!
And lastly is my 2004 RALLY JAPAN plaque that I recently picked up also. This is hand signed by Petter Solberg himself. What makes this important is that it is it the first WRC event in Japan and that Petter Solberg won the event!!
Honestly, I feel like the ultimate Subaru fanboy with collecting all the rare GD parts and also collecting all the cool Subaru memorabilia that’s out there! There’s way more parts in storage that I haven’t talked about but maybe one day they’ll be revealed!
